FULL MOON CACAO CEREMONY
Making Our Hearts as Full as the Moon
I am offering a Cacao Ceremony on the evening of October 17th at 7:00pm on my property in Summit (just about 15 minutes north of Cedar City). Join us for an experience of community connection, plant sacrament education, delicious Cacao, and a connective ceremony facilitated by an experienced medicine man.
The plant medicine being offered for this ceremony is Cacao. This sacrament is safe, and legal. Cacao - the original, unadulterated form of chocolate - has been used for thousands of years in central and south America as a heart-opening and heart-healing medicine. This ceremony will be approximately 3 hours in length, and you will be able to drive home afterwards. Though each ceremony is unique and different, you can expect:
- Discussion about the moon/planetary phase
- Discussion about Cacao
- Opening prayers & intentions

- Guided Meditation, Live Medicine Music, & Sound Journey

This ceremony is being offered on a sliding scale donation of $50-$100. I would like to make these experiences accessible for anyone that feels called, and also ask for fair compensation to support me in offering this work while needing to cover the expenses for hosting it (venue being used, sacraments being served, instruments, necessities for the space, time & energy setting up & tearing down, out-of-state travel, etc.).
This experience will be held at Deva Haven inside of the Deva Dome, which is our community gathering building. The gates to the property will be opened at 6:30pm, and you are welcome to begin arriving then so that you can setup a nice, cozy space for yourself inside. Please arrive on time for this event so that we can honor the property owners and everyone attending. Gates close at 7:15pm unless we have had direct communication regarding the ability to accommodate a late arrival.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Yoga mat or sleeping pad, blanket, and/or a pillow to be comfortable wherever you decide to position yourself.
- Water
- Paper and pen for notes
- Any items of comfort, magick, security, or personal connection to contribute to the energy of the space that we hold.

CEREMONY PREPARATION: Receiving plant medicine is a special, sacred, intimate, and powerful experience. Not only are you receiving "a plant," but you are also taking the spirit of the plant into your body - communing with it. In order to receive the plants and their spirits on a deeper and more impactful level, it is best to do so with clean bodies - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Take a few days to cleanse yourself out by only consuming and taking in things, foods, people, places, and experiences that are nutritional, beneficial, and high-vibrational for you. Eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables (I even recommend going completely raw, even just for 48 hours). Drink more water than normal. Stay home instead of going to the party. What we experience in ceremony helps us to integrate dramatic life changes - start making the small changes now.
