Etheric is bringing ceremony back to Cedar City with a deep, intimate two-night experience that will leave a beautiful imprint on your heart and soul. Join Etheric and and his co-facilitator, Bri of the Light, for an unforgettable mini-retreat on their private land just outside of Cedar City.
An expertly curated experience of deep prayer and connection, this gathering is a two-night shamanic ceremony with the intention of embracing conscious communion, evoking the divine, dissolving identity illusions, and embodying the authentic self. "Smoke & Mirrors" is a multifaceted journey taking guests to their centers of truth, empowerment, and radical self-reflection. Both nights of ceremony will be in process from 7pm to 11pm, with space in between and after each ceremony for social connection and the sharing of health-conscious foods.
① Night One is all about the "Smoke." Smoke has been used for thousands of years for both energetic cleaning and the setting of intetions/prayers, and this is the space that we will create on the first night of ceremony. We will move through several layers of sacred smoke cleansing and smudging rituals to clear and purify the body, heart, and mind. Guests will be taught about all of the specific herbs, trees, and resins that we will be utilizing. Creating a clean container for manifestation and open receptivity, the layered smoke rituals hold space for our ultimate prayers - the things we are asking for, calling in, sending out, etc. The evening will have periods of live acoustic music woven throughout the prayer.
② Night Two is the night of "Mirrors" - a ceremonial exploration of the psyche that takes you beneath the conscious layer of your existence to meet your truest self in all of its different expressions. During this night of ceremony we will have a conversation with The Grandmother plant teacher and journey into an expertly facilitated communion with the spirits of sacred plant medicine. Through the guidance of the Grandmother combined with your prayers from Night One, you will be invited into an interdimensional container of introspection and insight, prayer and play, and reverent exploration. The journey will be guided by soulful, live acoustic medicine music, guided meditation and spoken word, earth-based ritual, and vibrational sound therapy. Etheric & Bri have been creating these experiences together for approximately 4 years and utilize a collection of world instruments that includes drums & percussion, authentic Chinese gongs, traditional Tibetan singing bowls, guitars, and so much more. When ceremony ends, we will have freshly made organic soup to share, and guests are welcomed to hang out and connect as we all ground and settle from the experience.

This 2-night ceremony is being offered on a sliding scale donation of $300-$400. This means that you can pay whatever feels best to you within that range. We would like to make this experience accessible to everyone who would benefit from it and we also ask for fair compensation to support us, while needing to cover the expenses for hosting it (private venue, the sacraments being served, instruments, necessities for the space, facilitator's travel, time & energy setting up & tearing down, food cost & prep, etc.).
Both nights of this experience will be held on our private property in Summit, just outside of Cedar City. Address will be sent out to everyone on Thursday morning, the day before ceremony. It is important to plan ahead and arrive with enough time to get acquainted with the space, unload your belongings, and create a comfortable place for yourself to sit/lay down. Gates to the land will close at 7:15pm each night. Unless we have had direct communication with you regarding the ability to accommodate a late arrival, it will not be permitted. This is to maintain the integrity of the ceremony. Guests are welcomed to spend the night on the property both Friday and Saturday nights, if desired.
PLANT CEREMONY PREPARATION: Receiving plant sacraments is a special, sacred, intimate, and powerful experience. Not only are you receiving "a plant," but you are also taking the spirit of the plant into your body - communing with it. Due to the nature of the plant that we are serving on Night Two of this gathering, everyone in attendance that will be receiving it is required to be on a specific diet coming into ceremony - this diet will be discussed in your consultation when you register for this ceremony. Additionally we ask that nobody comes to ceremony under the influence of ANY other substances or plant medicines (cannabis, psilocybin, alcohol, etc.), and we will not accomodate anybody that disobeys this. Please contact me directly if you take antidepressants, antipsychotics, blood pressure or heart medication, or any MAOIs so that I can be safe in properly serving you. I do have safe, alternative options for those that are ineligible to receive (or just do not want to receive) the sacrament that we are serving on the Night Two.
